We understand the challenges you face today because we’ve been where you are now. Managing training for multiple roles across multiple sites. For many companies, these tasks quickly become onerous with multiple systems and processes used, and they become inefficient.
This is an all-too-common scenario and for most companies, expensive Learning Management Systems are financially out of reach and often far too complex for what is required.
This is why we developed CALMcloud.
From the ground up, we designed and built the system based on what we knew businesses needed and in a way they could access simply and cost-effectively. We are more than just a SaaS provider (Software as a Service), our aim is to support our clients throughout the whole process to make sure the organisation and its employees get the very best from the potential of the system.
What problems does CALMcloud address?
Our starting point when developing CALMcloud was to look at all the ‘pain points’ we knew companies experienced when trying to managing their employee training and competency.
Training materials stored separately from records
Having training records on one system and the training materials themselves somewhere else, makes managing training for individuals more complex than it should be.
With CALMcloud, you can store all your pdfs, PowerPoint slides, videos and documents on the system alongside the training records. With all the information available one place you can be sure it is always up to date and easily accessible.
Access limited to a single PC
Having records or a system only available on one PC means information cannot be shared and risks multiple versions existing throughout the organisation. It also means that only one user in one location can access it.
Our system is cloud-based which means it can be accessed 24/7 from any location or device with internet access. Trainers, administrators and individuals can access easily to view the latest information instantly and have live views of progress.
Inadequate reporting
It is frustrating not be able to see how training is progressing or if there are any potential problem areas. Our system allows for real-time, customisable reporting so whatever senior management requires, it can be easily accessed. Report on different types of training, view by site or department and track expiration dates and be warned before a certificate expires.

SYSTEM OVERVIEW
CALMcloud is a fully integrated learning management, competency and assessment system. It works securely on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing Services, the world’s most trusted and secure cloud server service, which ensures as secure and dependability.
The system has been developed from scratch by our team of professional trainers and consultants to create a platform that fulfils all the requirements for businesses, small companies through to large multi-site organisations.
TRAINING
Most organisations have a variety of different training options for employees
depending on the nature of the content. CALMcloud supports all types of
training including online, video, instructor-led training, assessment, competence
tracking and mentoring.
All materials associated with the course is uploaded to the CALMcloud system
with updates ensuring the latest versions are always available. With training
courses allocated to roles, it is easy to make sure every employee is allocated
the correct training and competence procedures.
REPORTING
With all the training and competence data on one system, reporting is no
longer a difficult, time-consuming or manual task. The power of the data held
within CALMcloud, married with the intuitive user-interface, means that you
can easily create a whole suite of custom reports, from global views of the
organisation to granular views of individuals or specific courses.
With this knowledge, comes the ability to more efficiently manage the training
and competence of your workforce.

What is involved in moving to the CALMcloud system?
We want to make sure our customers get the most from the CALMcloud system which is why we provide a comprehensive set up and support service. We take the time to find out about your organisation, your requirements and your current frustrations so we can configure the system to best meet your needs. We work with you to build and populate the system.
This is often the most challenging stage as you will probably have data in many areas of the business, across different systems and platforms. This is a common situation so we have the experience to help you get it all set up and populated ready for launch.
You can decide on whether you want a rolling launch across the business or a ‘big bang’ launch across all sites. Whatever you chose we can advise on the best way to ensure employee onboarding and engagement and how to handle any queries and questions.
After launch, we are on hand to provide on-going support not only technical support, but also help with data or process issues. In fact, whatever your business requires, our aim is to ensure CALMcloud becomes an integrated and seamless part of your organisation.

A BIT MORE ABOUT US
CALMcloud is the brainchild of John Reynolds, who saw a gap in
the industry for a system that manages training and competency
in a joined up yet simple and vibrant way across all levels of an
organisation, including contractors.
At the start of 2019, John and Karon sought support to develop
the system further and went into partnership with Jo & Steve
Mitchell. During our many working years, we have all seen
companies struggling with their competency and training records
that do not deliver a ‘true’ competence picture as well as issues
relating to data protection.
Difficulties can arise when something goes wrong, be it an
incident, a visit from the Health & Safety Executive or a request
for information. Good accurate records are important but being
able to demonstrate that your people are trained and competent
is a legal obligation under the health and safety regulations.
This was the impetus behind CALMcloud and the four partners
have brought a range of skills and experience to its development
including many years delivering training, competence systems
and consultancy and the development of IT systems.
